Meet Madison
** Adopted **
Don’t let this little cute face and gangly puppy legs fool you -- Madison can hold her own with the biggest of the big dogs and she brings out the playful puppy in even her 9 year old foster dog brother. Our favorite pastime is to watch this little 10-pound wonder taking on the big Cocker Spaniel and mini-Aussie at the same time!.
This little girl does not like cats but will only bark at them until she finds something else to capture her attention. Maddie loves to cuddle around your legs when nap time comes and will sleep in her kennel at night as long as it’s placed so she can see her humans.
In the instance you have lost any dog chew toys in your house, she will find them for you. She’s a quick learner, so generally only needs one or two verbal reprimands to figure out what is not a dog toy (I have not puppy-proofed my house and I’ve yet to find a shoe or anything chewed… she does however move them).
She loves to play toss & retrieve with her humans, even when the tennis ball was almost bigger than she was! She understands that potty breaks are outside and will dutifully do her ‘business’ when the other dogs go out, but she just hasn’t learned to ask to go out on her own yet; however, she will use pee pads if provided.
The ideal family for her will already have a dog or two, preferably not cats, a fenced yard, and a genuine appreciation of puppy spunk!
The $200 adoption fee includes full vetting, the DHPP, Rabies, Bordatella, Canine Flu vaccines, spay/neuter and microchipping.
